To Scandic shores they would tame

Haakon Haraldsson takes command
Expel usurpers from his land
Upon his head a golden helm
Beloved king of this realm

Snowy hills are bathed in red
Bloodaxe men are stacked and dead
They came to take Haakon's crown
We stood tall, to bring them down

Crimson flows, across the white
Adversary, turned in flight
On Norge soil they dared tread
On Norge snow blood was shed

On the field Haakon fell
Valkyrie gather, toll the bell
As he slowly fades to death
He proclaims with final breath

Victory was ours today
Yet to Bloodaxe, the crown shall stray
It matters not, who has won
Only that the war is done
